Metroid Dread and Nintendo Switch – OLED Model Now Available in Stores

The most recent member of the Nintendo Switch family is now available for sale. Nintendo Switch – OLED model is similar in size to the Nintendo Switch system but possesses a larger 7-inch OLED screen with crisp contrast and vivid colors.

This new system provides the players a new option to play from the growing library of Nintendo games.

This is not the only Nintendo experience that has been launched recently. The latest in the Metroid franchise, Metroid Dread is also available on sale.

Nintendo Switch OLED

The story follows Samus Aran, an intergalactic bounty hunter who explores a new planet for decoding the mystery surrounding a cryptic transmission. This series is a sci-fi epic filled with breathless action, satisfying exploration, and a story you wouldn’t forget.

Metroid Dread concludes by focusing on the interconnected fates of the Metroids and the Samus. 

The Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Communications of Nintendo America, Nick Chavez claimed that it was an exciting moment for Nintendo fans with two major product launches.

He claimed that the fans would believe their eyes when they lay their hands on Metroid Dread and Nintendo Switch – OLED Model. 

Apart from a 7-inch OLED screen, the latest model also features a stand that can be adjusted for tabletop mode and a new dock with a wired LAN port.

The tabletop play and the enhanced audio also add excitement. Just like Nintendo Switch, the latest model permits the players to enjoy the game on the TV and also comes with detachable Joy-con controllers for some interesting time. 

Nintendo Switch- OLED Model is currently available in stores at a price of $349.99. It comes in two color options: a white set and a black main unit with a white dock and the other one is a neon red/neon blue set featuring neon red and neon blue Joy-con controllers.

A screen protector and carrying case set are also available for purchase starting today at a retail price of $19.99.

Metroid Dread game

After a harrowing encounter with a living Chozo, a race believed to be extinct, she wakes up deep below the surface of the planet. The remote world is inhabited with vicious alien lifeforms and mechanical menaces.

While traversing the different environments on the new planet, the players will acquire new abilities. You can find upgrades, find a way forward, or alternate paths with these abilities. Metroid Dread is now available on the official website at a retail price of $59.99.

The special edition is available for $89.99. A new Samus amiibo figure is also available for sale at $29.99. By scanning the Samus ammibo, the players receive an extra energy tank for increasing their health by 100. Furthermore, the figure can be scanned again to receive health once per day.
